Today, on 20 June, the Government adopted a decision, which is expected to define the specifics of alienation of gifts of public officials and public servants, which have become state property, through public auctions.

According to Iravaban.net, is proposed to add provisions in the order of alienation (sale) of state-owned property regarding the alienation of gifts of public officials and public servants that have become state property.

It is also foreseen to establish that in the case of evaluation of gifts that have become the property of the state, the information registered in the gift register is submitted to the State Property Management Committee.

It is also planned to establish that in the case of an assessment of gifts that have become the property of the state, the information registered in the register of gifts, the documents drawn up on their delivery, as well as, if available, their technical specifications or other relevant documents, is transferred to the State Property Management Committee. The sale of gifts of public office holders and public servants, which have become state property, shall be carried out through auction sales.

Another decision of the executive will define the specifics of the management of gifts of public office holders and public servants that have become state property: thus completing the regulations on restrictions on accepting gifts by public office holders and public servants, determining the future fate of gifts that become the property of the state in cases defined by law, as well as to ensure the structures that are necessary for the complete and proper implementation of the relevant legislative regulations in practice.
