Aliq.ge reports that the Presidents of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliaments of the EU Countries in Tbilisi joined the demonstrators protesting against the “Law on Agents” on Rustaveli Avenue.
Among them are the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament Žigimantas Pavlionis and the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Bundestag Mikhael Roth. European officials spoke and expressed their support for the participants of the anti-Russian demonstration and the Georgian people.
Addressing the rally participants on Rustaveli Avenue, Roth said: “Today, Tbilisi is the real capital of Europe, and we are proud of you. Your fight is our fight, and you should expect more from us than just words.”
Notably, the chairmen of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliaments of Finland, Germany, Lithuania and the Czech Republic are in Tbilisi for already two days.
