According to the decision of 3 October of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly “On Amnesty on the Occasion of the 22nd Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia, as of 21:00pm on 9 October, 114 convicts were released from the penitentiary establishments of the RA Ministry of Justice.
“Nubarashen” penitentiary – 7,
“Artik” penitentiary – 2,
“Vanadzor” penitentiary – 2,
“Erebuni” penitentiary – 56,
“Kosh” penitentiary – 44,
“Vardashen” penitentiary – 3.
The Ministry of Justice informs that total 392 convicts were released on 8 and 9 October based on the Amnesty decision.
