Roman Mikoyan, who killed his brother and grandmother, was detained for 2 months

Roman Mikoyan, who stabbed his brother, was detained for 2 months, until 18 December, 2023 inclusive. TASS reported.

Let’s remind that earlier it became known that the bodies of pensioner Polina Tkachenko and her 30-year-old grandson, Artem Mikoyan, were found with cut and punctured wounds in a private house in the village of Kryukovo, near Moscow’s Istrinsky district.

During the interrogation, Roman confessed what he had done and explained that the motive for the crime was an old family conflict. The man said that after an argument with his grandmother, he waited for her to go to sleep and killed her. Then the accused called his brother and asked him to come. The unsuspecting relative entered the grandmother’s house, after which a conflict began between the brothers, which also ended in murder.

After that, according to investigators, Roman called the police himself.

The press service of the Stas Namin Center told TASS that Novikov “had a criminal past and was prone to gambling and drug use.” In addition, it is noted that the musician did not adopt him, and Roman took Stas Namin’s surname without permission. The musician married Galina, Roman’s mother, when Roman was one year old. A few years later, the couple had a son, Artyom. They lived together for 25 years and divorced in 2015.
