On 11 July, 2022, by the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council, the powers of Judge Artur Mkrtchyan of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan were terminated due to the expiration of his term of office.

The retired judge asks the court to oblige the defendant to provide him with a document stating that he was underpaid.

- 31.05.2010-11.07.2022. During the years of his tenure as a judge, a penalty of 0.15 percent is subject to calculation from the amount of 19,248,796.6 drams in the form of an additional payment, which is 19,076,410.4 drams.
The petition was accepted into proceedings and signed to Judge Grigor Arakelyan.
The court made a decision to demand evidence.
“In this case, the court considers it necessary to request the staff of the RA Supreme Judicial Council, the staff of the Kentron seat of the First Instance Court of Yerevan City of the Judicial Department, to present to the Administrative Court within two weeks after receiving the decision, all applications submitted by Artur Mishai Mkrtchyan regarding the provision of a document on the amount of underpaid wages and 0.15% of the compensation for underpaid wages defined in part 1 of Article 198 of the Labor Code in the period from 31.05.2010 to 11.07.2022 and the answers given to them,” the court’s decision stated.
The first court session will take place on 8 May.
