On February 3, 2023, Ambassador Makunts had a virtual meeting with Congresswoman Judy Chu.
During the meeting, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, issues of Armenian POWs in Azerbaijan, as well as challenges faced by the Armenian population of Artsakh caused by the blockade of the Lachin corridor were discussed during the meeting. The Ambassador highly valued the Congresswoman’s support to the problems of particular importance to Armenia.
