The Kremlin is ready to organize a meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev in Russia

Russia will be ready to provide the necessary support to hold a new meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on its territory, Russian President’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. TASS reported.

“Russia will certainly be ready to provide all the necessary support to hold such a meeting on its territory,” the Kremlin Spokesperson answered the relevant question.

Speaking about the unofficial summit of the CIS countries, which may take place at the end of the year in St. Petersburg, Peskov said that there is an idea to hold such a meeting.

“There are ideas to hold such a meeting in before New Year. Once all the arrangements are finalized, we will make an announcement accordingly. If there is a mutual understanding regarding the (Aliyev and Pashinyan – ed.) meeting, we will inform,” Peskov concluded.
