Five people were stabbed in a shopping center near Milan on Thursday evening when a man attacked the crowd. RIA Novosti wrote.

The local law enforcement officers managed to arrest the attacker. It was found that the 46-year-old man is Italian. Law enforcers are investigating all the circumstances of the case. At the moment, it is not clear what the reason for the attack was. It is possible that we are talking about an insane act.

Several ambulances and a special medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene. All the injured were taken to hospitals. Doctors assess the condition of the three injured as serious.
