Azerbaijan is trying to prevent the supply of weapons and ammunition to Armenia, including by allies: Pashinyan

The territory of Armenia is occupied; the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan must withdraw from the territory of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this today, on 29 September, before the Government Session.

“Yesterday, in the southeastern part of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan carried out another provocation and attacked our unit carrying out engineering works. This is another manifestation of Azerbaijani aggression, and I must record that the engineering works were being carried out on the territory of Armenia, and the Azerbaijani units that attacked were also located on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. This is the continuation of aggression; the territory of Armenia is occupied. Our position is unequivocal and the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan must withdraw from the territory of Armenia,” the Prime Minister said.

He also mentioned that Azerbaijan is trying to ensure that weapons and ammunition are not supplied to Armenia, including by allied countries.

“We have cases where 100 million dollars have been paid, but the obligations towards Armenia are not fulfilled, including by allied countries.

All this is happening in order for us to renounce our statehood, sovereignty and make concessions on our territorial integrity.

Despite all factors, we are determined to preserve our territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty,” he said.

According to the Prime Minister, Azerbaijan is trying to throw Armenia out of the normal cycle of life. “Each of us should be focused on our work with bitterness and anger. No matter how bitter it is, I appeal with this call to everyone,” Pashinyan said.
