Erdogan will discuss the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with Putin

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planning to discuss the escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as  “Armenpress” reports , citing TASS, Reuters reports this with reference to a high-ranking Turkish official.

A Turkish senior official told Reuters that the talks will be held in Samarkand, during the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, scheduled on September 15-16.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that on 13 September, around 00:05, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces, using artillery, mortars and UAVs, opened intense fire at the Armenian positions located in several parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at the same time..

In particular, the positions located in the direction of Sotk, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish and Ishkhanasar were shelled. Civilian infrastructures are also being attacked.

As of 15:00 on 14 September, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has become extremely tense again. From 1:00 p.m., the enemy resumed intensive rocket artillery attacks along the entire border from Sotk to Goris, targeting civilian settlements, and widely using attack drones.
