“The United States is deeply concerned about reports of attacks along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, including reported strikes against settlements and civilian infrastructure inside Armenia,” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.
“As we have long made clear, there can be no military solution to the conflict. We urge an end to any military hostilities immediately,” he added.
On 13 September, around 00:05, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces, using artillery, mortars and UAVs, opened intense fire at the Armenian positions located in several parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at the same time.
