The NA “Civil Contract” Faction submitted to NA Speaker Alen Simonyan the   drafts of the NA decisions on the recall of National Assembly Deputy Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the position of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and the termination of the powers of  National Assembly Deputy Vahe Hakobyan as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.

On the initiative of the Faction, today, on 1 July, an extraordinary session of the National Assembly started, in which the above-mentioned issues are discussed.

“Out of 107 deputies, 66 deputies participated in the voting. There were 66 ballots in the ballot box; there were no invalid ballots. The votes were distributed as follows: 66 MPs voted in favor of recalling Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the post of NA Deputy Speaker. 66 MPs voted to release Vahe Hakobyan from the position of Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs,” Narek Babayan, chairman of the Accounting Committee said.
