We managed to bring the positions of Yerevan and Baku closer on a number of issues: Mher Grigoryan

The working group of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on the issue of unblocking regional communications managed to bring closer the positions of Yerevan and Baku on many issues, in particular, on border and customs control, RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told TASS.

“I consider the activity of the trilateral working group on unblocking transport connections in the South Caucasus constructive. It is, of course, a difficult task, but I must say that the parties manage to bring closer the positions on many issues of border and customs control, as well as the safe movement of citizens and cargo by road and railway through Armenia and Azerbaijan,” he said.

According to Grigoryan, at the moment the expert subgroups continue to work out the issues related to the restoration of automobile and railway infrastructures and their further use.
