Today, on 21 June, a group of young people held a protest action in front of the Supreme Judicial Council building. The latter switched on an excerpt from the secret recording made during a meeting with Gagik Jhangiryan published by Ruben Vardazaryan on 20 June.

As we reported earlier, Ruben Vardazaryan (powers suspended) Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, during a press conference yesterday, publicized the recording of his conversation with Gagik Jhangiryan, Acting Chairman of the Council, and Stepan Mikayelyan, a member of the Council on 20 February, 2021.

He mentioned that publishing it was one of the most difficult decisions he made in his life, as he has not published it yet, because he expected the Council to act reasonably, it will not take extreme steps.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that the recording was sent to the Investigative Committee for investigation.
