The rally of the “Resistance” movement has started in the French Square of Yerevan.

As we reported earlier, today, он 3 June, the members of the “Resistance” Movement surrounded all the entrances of the Government building for about two hours, after which they marched to the Government House, where they stopped.

Large police forces were gathered near the Government mansion.

The Vice President of the National Assembly Ishkhan Saghatelyan addressed the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and told him to come out and answer the citizens’ questions.

The Vice President of the National Assembly Ishkhan Saghatelyan addressed the gathered policemen and called on them to open the way so that the participants of the movement could move in the direction to the National Assembly, after which a scuffle started between the police and the participants of the movement. The police began to detain the protesters.

Notably, today the opposition factions convened a special sitting of the National Assembly with the agenda of Armenian-Azerbaijani-Armenian-Turkish relations, but the ruling “Civil Contract” Faction boycotted the sitting, as a result of which it did not take place.
