From Legislative Procedure in the European Union to Intellectual Games: Day Three

July 10th, is the third day of Summer School on European Law.

 

Heinz-Wilhelm Schaumann, Lecturer at the RheinAhrCampus Remagen of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, spoke about the legislative procedure in the European Union; the Relationship between European Union Law and National Law of Member States; as well as about the European Union Competition Law and Corporate Law. With this he completed his lectures foreseen for the Summer School.

 

“I’m leaving with great impressions. The lawyers, indeed, had a considerable basis on European Law, which made me really happy,” Mr. Heinz-Wilhelm Schaumann said in his interview to the journalist of Iravaban.net.

 

Mr. Ashot Yesayan, Associate Professor, Chief of Staff of RA Prosecutor General’s Office introduced to the attention of the participants of Summer school, information on Legal basis of European Union’s Policy in the Sphere of Education and Culture and gave the participants his tutorial “Right to Education.”

 

During the practical group work, the lawyers discussed the legal issues of the European Union Competition and Corporate Law and recommended solutions in the framework of EU activities.

 

After the workshop the participants went hiking and at the end of the day met in the intellectual game “What? Where? When?”
