The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Friday published footage of the work of the calculations of the Iskander complex. With the help of the operational-tactical complex of the RF Armed Forces, the base for training foreign mercenaries in Ukraine was destroyed, the department noted, TASS news agency reported.

The published footage shows that the firing was carried out by two types of missiles – ballistic and cruise. According to the head of the calculation of the self-propelled launcher, the building was almost completely destroyed by a ballistic missile. “A ballistic missile hit the building in which the foreign legion was located and the training base. Since a high-explosive penetrating warhead was used, the building, 60 meters long, was almost completely destroyed, and the enemy was hit,” he said.

It should be reminded that early in the morning of 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.

The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
