About 3 million citizens have already left Ukraine: Ukrinform

Since the beginning of the Russian war against Ukraine on 24 February, 2,969,600 Ukrainians have left the country and 1,808,436 citizens have crossed the border with Poland.

Ukrinform reported, citing data released by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

As of 24 February, 1,808,436 citizens of Ukraine crossed the border with Poland, 453,432 with Romania, 337,215 with Moldova, 263,888 with Hungary, 213,000 with Slovakia, 142,994 with Russia and 1475 citizens with Belarus.

A total of 2,969,600 citizens crossed the border to leave Ukraine.

It is noted that the data of those arriving in the Schengen countries bordering Ukraine (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) indicate only that they crossed the border with the country, but a large number of people later moved to other countries.

According to Ukrinform, since the beginning of the war, Great Britain has issued visas to 4,000 Ukrainian refugees to stay in the country. Austria will host 2,000 displaced persons from Ukraine that currently are in Moldova.
