Russia has lifted restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 on flights to Armenia

Russia is lifting on reciprocal basis restrictions on regular flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Iran due to COVID-19, the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency said.

TASS reported.

In the past, restrictions on flights to Belarus, the Dominican Republic, Egypt (except Cairo), the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Finland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Korea and Cuba were completely lifted.

Flights to those countries are now limited to the provisions of intergovernmental air transport agreements, separate agreements between the aviation authorities of the countries.

When operating regular or non-scheduled flights, airlines must comply with the provisions of the decision of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation “On providing isolation to prevent the spread of COVID-19”, the Federal Air Transport Agency added.
