Seven protesters were detained in front of the Kazakh Embassy in Moscow

TASS News Agency reports that police in front of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Moscow arrested seven protesters from the “Revolutionary Workers’ Party.

The News Agency was informed about this by the law enforcement bodies.

The activists organized a protest action in front of the embassy with posters, after which they were taken to the police station.

It should be reminded that the protest actions in Kazakhstan started in the first days of the New Year. Residents of the town of Zhanaozen and Aktau protested against the doubling of the price of liquefied natural gas, which the Ministry of Energy explained by the fact that from 1 January, prices on the electronic stock exchange began to form on the basis of supply and demand.

The situation in different cities of Kazakhstan remains tense.
