Armenia is ready to start the process of demarcation of borders. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the meeting with the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan.

“We are also sincerely interested in opening and unblocking communications in the region,” he said.

Pashinyan said that since 12 May, 2021, a crisis situation has been created on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

“Our assessment is that the Azerbaijani troops have invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia. Of course, the borders are not demarcated, they are not delimitated, but there is a state border, it is the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
