Turkey is going to set up its own long-range air defense systems in the near future. Head of the Turkish Defense Industry Ismail Demir stated. According to him, this will allow Turkey to reduce its dependence on the third countries in terms of air defense systems, “Ermenihaber” reports.
The Turkish official noted that Turkey already has its own short-range HİSAR A+ and HİSAR O air defense systems.
It should be reminded that Turkey will soon buy the second batch of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia, which the United States strongly opposes.
