The Covid ward consisting of about 140 beds, was reopened at Mikaelyan University Hospital: Armen Muradyan

Today, the Covid ward consisting of about 140 beds, which has been closed since June 15 at Mikaelyan University Hospital was reopened.

Rector of Yerevan State Medical University Armen Muradyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“Taking into account the increase in the number of coronavirus infections, the overloaded work of the intensive care units, the Mikaelyan University Hospital will again provide medical care to Covid patients in a separate building with about 140 beds with a separate entrance.

The building works jointly with the RA Ministry of Health. The best university specialists ensure the high quality and availability of medical care.

Once again, please follow all anti-epidemic rules and get VACCINATED urgently…

Remember, only together can we break the Covid 19 distribution chain.

Please help our medical workers working day and night so that we do not have dangerous and serious consequences,” he wrote.
