Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet with President of the Republic Ilham Aliyev and Jeyhun ayramov during his visit to Azerbaijan on 10-11 May. According to the TASS news website, this is stated in a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday.
“On 10-11 May, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay a working visit to Baku, during which he is scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev Jeyhun Bayramov,” the statement said.
It is noted that the Russian side is determined to continue the open, mutually respectful dialogue on the whole spectrum of development of relations with Azerbaijan in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The statement says that special attention will be paid to the comprehensive implementation of the statements of 9 November, 2020 and 11 January, 2021of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. The situation in Nagorno Karabakh and the humanitarian aspects will be considered. Settlement of Nagorno Karabakh, post-conflict reconstruction, establishment of a peaceful life.
