Have you heard after 2018 that someone entered into a share; there is no such thing: Nikol Pashinyan

Deep reforms have taken place in the Republic of Armenia, starting with the economy, continuing with justice, ending with the environment.

Acting Prime Minister, Prime Ministerial candidate Nikol Pashinyan spoke about this during his speech at the special sitting of the National Assembly.

“When I assumed the post of Prime Minister in 2018, the government owed the business 274 billion drams. This is the amount that the business should not have paid according to the RA legislation, that is, this amount should have remained at the disposal of the business, but in fact, they were entered into a joint treasury account or state accounts by the tax authorities in various ways. The reason is not significant, but the money was taken from the business,” Pashinyan said.

According to him, the problem of this debt has been solved within three years and the state has no debt to business.

“Everyone has forgotten that one of the most topical issues in the 30-year history of the Armenian economy was the topic of entering into the share. Have you heard after 2018 that someone will get a share somewhere, in any business? Have you heard somewhere that someone thinks that his property will continue to be his ownership, or that someone will come and say that, you know what, 5% of this property, 10 or 50% or all of it belongs to me. Is there such a case? Does anyone know of such a case? Of course there is not,” Pashinyan said.
