Biden breaks US record in number of votes received: Bostonglobe

The US presidential candidate Joe Biden has received the most votes in favor in US history, Bostonglobe reports.

According to the latest data from Fox News, the former vice president has already managed to be supported by more than 69.8 million voters, while the latest record of 69.4 million votes was set by Democrat Barack Obama in 2008.

It should be reminded that on 3 November, the US held presidential elections, in which incumbent President Donald Trump’s opponent is the representative of the Democratic Party, former Vice President Joe Biden.

The results of the vote have not been announced yet, but earlier incumbent President Donald Trump promised to make a statement announcing victory in the election. In addition, the incumbent president said he had already won. Trump also noted that the Democrats are trying to “steal his victory.”
