As soon as the Law provides that Right, I will be the first to sit in a Bulldozer to demolish it: Hayk Marutyan about Taron Margaryan’s Decision and Mashtots Park

Yerevan must be much greener than it is today. The Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan said this today, on 4 August, during a press conference.

He spoke about the work being done in Mashtots Park, noting that it is no secret that he fought for the park before becoming mayor.

“There was a cafe that always existed, and which had 277 square meters registered in the cadastre as property, which is inviolable and 17 square meters as property, also registered in the cadastre as a pavilion, it is its property forever and we cannot do anything about it. “We have the same problem in the opera,” said the Mayor.

Hayk Marutyan also mentioned that on 16 May, 2018, Taron Margaryan had signed a decision, according to which the 386 square meters had become 1048 square meters and in that land it fixes the already mentioned 277 square meters of property and 17 square meters as own property. This decision was annulled by Hayk Marutyan as mayor.
