There is no need to panic: Governor of Tavush

Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan wrote on his Facebook page, “Dear friends, please avoid unnecessary publications and follow only the official news.

As it was mentioned in the official statement, the army is in full control of the situation, there is no need to worry or panic.

There will be official information about the current situation.

Notably, on12  July, the Azerbaijani servicemen made an attempt to cross the RA state border in the direction of Tavush.

After the warning of the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani servicemen left their UAZ car and returned to their positions. Shortly afterwards, at 1:45 p.m., servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces repeated an attempt to seize the border post of the Armenian Armed Forces, using artillery fire, but were repressed by the Armenian side and repulsed, inflicting casualties.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informs that 2 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were killed and 5 others were wounded in an incident on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on 12 July.
