Before today’s government sitting, on 27 May, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan inquired about the sanctions imposed on businesses and citizens by the police.

“In compliance with the requirements of the Commandant’s decision, the police have drawn up protocols for violating the rules of the state of emergency provided for in the relevant article on administrative offenses.” A total of 966 protocols were drawn up, 240 protocols for the absence of a mask of the citizen, 657 protocols for the observance of the rules of passenger transport, 594 of which were for taxi drivers, and 63 for public transport, buses and bus drivers. Yesterday, 69 passenger vehicles, which were members of the same family or citizens, were transported to the economic entities without observance of any demands,” Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan said.
