The regular sitting continues in the National Assembly. Deputy Artur Hovhannisyan asked Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan a question during the presentation of the Ombudsman’s report. “An insulting statement was made to the head of the Civil Aviation, Tatik Razazyan, based on sex. The fact did not receive a response.”
Arman Tatoyan informed․ “The position of the Human Rights Defender is not to protect the official, but to protect the citizen, and also defend, yes, there are some cases related to the opposition, if the issue is related to human rights. There is an international rule, this rule is enshrined in the constitutional law, which prohibits the HRD and the state authorities to apply to the Ombudsman.”
