Ms Tehmina Vardanyan, member of Yerevan Council of Elders appeals to Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan.

“Mr. Mayor, as it has already been announced that your vacation is over and you have repeatedly stated that you do not have a weekend and work with devotion, I am hopeful that as a civil defense officer, you will go into action and will control as much as possible the situation in the city taking serious measures.

Polyclinics, ambulances, some theaters, kindergartens, schools and many more are under the control of city authorities. Of course I’m not talking about public transportation, which is not even disinfected. Teams in administrative districts should also be formed and preventive work should be undertaken. The streets and sidewalks will finally be washed by these beautiful cars. In public places, such as Vernissage and other fairs, any action should be prohibited. There are many things to do … We look forward to your coming out and working.”
