Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the “Bright Armenia” party, wrote a post on his Facebook page, proposing to stop the Yerevan-Milan flights.

“Just as they came from Iran and 14 days of quarantine were not organized, now they come from Milan in the same way, and if Coronavirus is found at any of those people, those in contact with them will then be isolated again. So, Yerevan-Milan flights should be stopped. People coming from epidemic cities or countries should be kept in quarantine for 14 days. As a result of not listening to what we said a week ago, we will now seek and isolate those in contact with the infected person when it had been possible to establish a quarantine for passengers arriving from Iran.”
