Earlier this morning, on 3 January, General Sulaiman Jassem Sulaiman Ali Abo Ghaith one of the most prominent Iranian military commanders, commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (ISIS), a unit called Jods was killed at the Baghdad International Airport, commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (ISIS), a unit called Jods.
It is reported by BBC.
The Pentagon has confirmed that bombings were carried out at the Baghdad airport by the immediate order of US President Donald Trump.
Donald Trump wrote on his Twitter page :
“The head of the special division of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps had to be neutralized years ago. At a time when Iran can never properly accept it, Suleyman was hated and feared in his own country.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement which reads:
“We are seriously concerned about the recent incidents in Baghdad which led to human losses as well. They risk further undermining the regional security and destabilizing the situation in the Middle East and beyond. Armenia calls for the de-escalation of situation exclusively through peaceful means.
Armenia will continue to closely cooperate with all its partners aimed at ensuring regional stability and security.”
