During the 16 December sitting of the Yerevan Council of the Elders, David Khazhakyan delivered an extraordinary speech. During the speech, he touched upon the order of Hayk Marutyan to switch off the microphone of “Luys” faction member Tehmina Vranyan, noting that they could not be deprived of their right to speak, and asked not to interrupt him during the speech.

“If someone turns off our microphone the next time, on the pretext of drifting off, don’t be offended by us. There was no such thing even in Taron Margaryan’s time,” David Khazhakyan said.

Hayk Marutyan responded to Davit Khazhakyan, saying: “I understand that you remember the Republican Party period with pleasure and you felt very comfortable.”

Following the Mayor’s reaction, Ani Khachatryan, began shouting at Hayk Marutyan.
