At the beginning of Baghramyan Avenue, the policemen began to gradually bring forward the barriers which they had placed at the beginning of Baghramyan Avenue. This caused the placed the dissatisfaction of the citizens.
By placing the barriers, the police took a greater part of the street under their control.
In response to a question of citizens why the barricades are constantly being moved forward, Deputy Chief of Police Valeri Osipyan said that they had been brought forward for only 100 centimeters.
“Now you are performing provocative actions, why will this only one meter hinder you?” he said Osipyan and demanded that the march participants go back for 100 centimeters and added that the barriers would not be moved back.
