Vaghinak Shushanyan, one of the initiating members of “No to Plunder” civil Initiative received a present from the Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan. The Chief of Police presented a Bible in silver cover on the occasion of Vaghinak’s 24th birth anniversary.
In the interview with Iravaban.net Vaghinak said that he received the present on 25th June during the protest action against the rise of electricity tariffs in Baghramyan Avenue. “When I was standing on the barricades, the Chief of Police who was standing on the other side of the police wall approached me, congratulated and handed the Bible.”
In reply to our question whether he is in friendly relations with the Chief of police Vaghinak said, “No this is merely a birthday present and noting more.”
