The issue of bringing appeal on a point of lawin Vardan Petrosyan’s case is still in the discussion stage. Ruben Baloyan, the representative of the injured and the successors of the injured told this to iravaban.net.
To our question about Vardan Petrosyan’s statement in the Court of Appeal, where he said that he was ready to conciliation and to take care and cover the costs of Tatevik Hakobyan’s treatment under a corresponding contract, and whether this suggestion has been accepted, the advocate answered, “Vardan Petrosyan’s proposal, though late, is acceptable for me as for a Tatevik Hakobyan’s representative. Currently this issue is in the discussion phase as well. Most probably we shall offer that Tatevik Hakobyan’s treatment is carried out in another medical center, which is located nearer o her place of residence.”
The representatives of the injured party and their successors demand to extract from the Vardan Petrosyan a sum of 12Million 500 thousand AMD in their civil suit. The sum includes the costs for treatment of the victim of the accident Tatevik Hakobyan, as well as other losses caused to the injured party, and also the costs for the advocates. The first instance court has not considered the civil suit, and the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal in this regard.
