On 17 February 2015, Davit Tonoyan, the RA First Deputy Minister of Defense, participated in the European Regional conference on “Ensuring Peace and Defense: Power of Joining US Peacekeeping Operations,” which took place in Amsterdam. The Information and Public relations department of the RA Ministry of Defense reports.
The Conference discussed the issues related to ensuring the European countries’ support to the UN peacekeeping operations. Armenia expressed its willingness to support the UN peacekeeping operations within its abilities.
During the visit Davit Tonoyan met with the Dutch partners as well. They discussed the issues on bilateral cooperation of the Netherlands and Armenia in the defense sector.
