The Investigation Department of Avan – Nor Nork Administrative District of Yerevan initiated a criminal case on the fact of the murder attempt committed in a way dangerous for the life of many people the RA Investigation Committee informs
On 6 February, the Police Department of Nor Nork Administrative District of Yerevan received a call from the Operative Management Center of the City Yerevan informing about a call from a citizen, reporting about a quarrel in one of the flats of Building 14 in the 9th District of Nor Nork. The citizen reported that there was a threat of possible murder. On the same day at 13:15 a phone call from “St Gevorg Lusavoritch” Medical Center informed that Anahit Khachatryan (DoB 1969) and a baby girl (Dob 2011) were brought to the MC with the diagnosis “Politravma traumatic shock”.
The Investigation Department of Avan – Nor Nork Administrative District of Yerevan of the RA Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under the provisions of of Aricle 34-104 Part 2 Point 1 (Attempt to murder of 2 or more persons) and Point 6, and Article 235 Part 1 of the RA criminal Code.
As a result of the materials obtained it was revealed that during the scuffle near house 1 of Kanaker 14th street, shooting took place. According to the preliminary data the above mentioned persons received gunshot injuries.
The suspect Melik Galstyan was arrested as result of undertaken operative measures.
