The Press Service of the RA Ministry of Education and Science informs that today the results of the national ranking system of the RA Universities for were summarized. Armen Ashotyan, the Minister of Education and Science of the RA, the rectors and other representatives of the education sphere attended the event. Armen Ashotyan introduced the basic principles of the rating system and reminded that the Ministry had launched a pilot project last year, elaborated the methodology for the national rating of the RA universities, and what qulity the RA universities ensure based on the international rating standards, which were included in the basis of the national rating system.
Summarizing the results of rating the Minister introduced the top three universities:
• Yerevan State University,
• American University of Armenia
• Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
Minister A. Ashotyan also informed that based on the results of rating system the Ministry intends to review the state policies in a number of areas. According to the minister, it first will refer to the principles of the formation of the state order.
