On 22 December, Edward Nalbandyan, the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyran Ohanyan, RA Minister of defense participated in the joint meeting of the Secretaries of Councils of Foreign Affairs Ministers, Councils of Defense Ministers and Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organizations. Aram Tananyan, Acting Head of the Security Council staff represented the National Security Council.
The ministers discussed the process of implementation of the decisions of the 2013 December session of Collective Security Councils. They approved draft documents that were included in the schedule of CSTO December 23 Session.
The issues of co-ordination of foreign policies were discussed at the meeting. The parties referred to the issuers of military and military-technical development, fight against terrorism and illegal drug trafficking, as well as the information security issues.
Nikolay Bordyuzham Secretary General of CSTO, reported about the current activities and the results recorded in the framework of cooperation.
The participants agreed on the date and place of the next session of the organization’s statutory bodies.
