More than 10 thousand People held an Anti-Corruption Rally in Hungary

In Budapest, more than 10 thousand people took part in the rally demanding the resignation of the head of Hungarian Tax Service Ildiko Vida, who is blamed for corruption, as well as the Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Deutsche Welle informs.

The protesters were holding banners saying “We do not pay taxes to fraudsters”, “Mafia Government” and “Orban disappear!”

Participants of the rally also demanded the intervention of the European Union.

For information: In late October about 100 thousand Hungarians went out into the streets of Budapest with the requirement to prevent the adoption of a law that provides a tax for the use of the Internet.

Hungarian authorities have considered the people’s demand then and abandoned that idea.
