Today, November 3, the RA Court of Cassation and the “German Society for International Cooperation” (GIZ) jointly organized a presentation of the 6th (2012) and 7th (2013) volumes of the decision series of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation, as well as the 1st Volume (2010-2012) of the Series of decisions on interim judicial acts on civil and administrative cases. Head of RA Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan, President of the Court of Cassation Arman Mkrtumyan, GIZ Program Coordinator in Armenia Vardan poghosyan, First Deputy to the Minister of Justice Arsen mkrtchyan, Rector of the RA Academy of Justice Ruben Melikyan, President of the RA Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan, judges and Judicial department officers attended the presentation.
President of the RA Court of Cassation Arman Mkrtumyan marked the importance of the publication of these books. In this regard he considered the cooperation with GIZ as being of key importance.
Head of the “Consultation for legal and judicial reforms in the South Caucasus” program of GIZ Vardan Poghosyan said that starting from 2008 the series of decisions on civil and administrative cases are being implemented jointly with the Court of Cassation. “The Series was published with 500 samples, and for the convenience of usage, as in previous editions, we also have a CD ROM version and electronic version. These series of Court of Cassation decisions include such important decisions in terms of practice, which related to the general property instututes, as well as inheritance, proving etc. Today the annual report of the Court of Cassation Civil and Administrative Chambers of 2013 is presented to our judgment, and it`s important that this manual has a very accessible style, a short remark and interesting statistical data”, stated Mr. Poghosyan.
