Today regular session of the RA Government took place, presided by the RA prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. We get informed on this by the official site of the RA Government.
RA Government approved the draft of the agreement on “Acceding to the 2014 May 29 Agreement on “Eurasian Economic Union””, and as its Article 1 defines, as soon as the Agreement enters into force, it becomes an official member of the Eurasian Economic Union. From that exact moment the EEU acts become subject to implementation on the territory of Armenia. Articles 1 to 5 set the list of those 29 international agreements to which Armenia will join, the amendments of those agreements, accession conditions and transition provisions, the list of those items and rates towards which different import customs rates will apply in Armenia through the transition period.
