The witness Zoya Zakaryan testified for the case of Volodya Avetisyan. She told the court that she did not know Volodya Avetisyan and saw him for the first time.
“My grandson, Henrik Haroyan, has many problems. We were told that there is a man, Volodya who was a policeman and can help so that my grandson serves in army in a near place. My husband talked to him. Before my husband’s investigation I did not know anything. After the first investigation it turned out that Avetisyan demanded 2000 USD Dollar in order to ensure my grandson’s service in a near place.”
The witness could not tell about the details of the meeting of her husband and Volodya Avetisyan since according to her, her husband is a taciturn and reserved person and does not like when somebody interferes in this affairs.
To the question of the accuser whether she remembers the testimony given during the initial investigation, she mentioned that she did not remember since long time had passed but insisted on the testimony at the same time. “Whatever I said, I said the truth. Whatever I knew I told.”
According to the witness, her husband met Volodya Avetisyan only once and she did not know before that whether he talked on the phone or not. “He never talked on the phone at our house, I do not know whether he talked or not. My daughter, Lusine sent 2000 US dollars with Henrik. Once my husband took that money and left the house. I asked where he was going, he said, “It is not your business.” After the investigation I learnt that Volodya Avetisyan demanded the money.”
