The Traffic Police informs that the operations on installation of new speed cameras in Yerevan City and on the highways out of t Yerevan is going on to control and record all violations of traffic rules and speed limits.
Specifically the speed camera will be operated from 7 April, 2014 in the following locations:
1. Mashtots Avenue: from the crossroads of Mashtots Avenue and Pushkin street in the direction of crossroads Mashtots Avenue and Amiryan street – 1 camera. The allowed maximum speed is 60 km per hour.
2. On the passage of Khanjyan and Heratsi streets – 1 camera for both directions. The allowed maximum speed is 60 km per hour.
3. Saralanji street: from the crossroads of Saralanji and Armenakyan streets in the direction of the crossroads of Saralanji and Glinka streets – 1 camera for both directions. The allowed maximum speed is 40 km per hour.
4. On 1.9th kilometer of the highway of republican importance H-28 “H-28 Hrazdan – M-4” (Administrative district of Hrazdan city) – 1 camera for both directions. The allowed maximum speed is 60 km per hour.
The Road Police urges the drivers to keep the traffic rules.
