Prime Minister of the RA Tigran Sargsyan participated in the Ceremonial Meeting dedicated to the 94th anniversary Of the Day of Employee of the Prosecutor’s Office. The employees of prosecutor’s office placed garland on the memorial of one of the founders of the RA prosecutor’s Office – Petik Torosyan.

Prime Minister Sargsyan congratulated the employees of prosecutor’s office on the occasion of their professional holiday and notes, “Activities of the Prosecutor’s Office have always been in the center of attention of our powers and the public. This is why very often the problems that the government and the Prosecution face are the same. And what is more the State faces many notable challenges with the help of Prosecutor’s office. It is not a secret that corruption is one of these problems.”

The Head of the Government assured that struggle against corruption is one of the most important issues for the Government. The Prime Minister turned to the prosecutors and noted that the citizen shall not be afraid of the prosecutor and the society shall believe that the prosecutor’s office carries out its responsibilities and functions duly.

A number of officials and staff members of the received titles and letters of recognition on the order of President Serzh Sargsyan. The Prime Minister handed the awards.
