The Governing Board of the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia held its final meeting on December 20, 2024. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person participation at the Armenian Lawyers’ Association central office and remote participation via Zoom platform. Board Chairman Movses Aristakesyan, Coalition Secretariat Coordinator Karen Zadoyan, and members Arkadi Sahakyan and Harutyun Aleksanyan attended the meeting in person. Board members Arpine Hakobyan, Armine Podosyan, and Artak Kirakosyan participated remotely.
The agenda included several important issues, including the admission of new members, organization of the upcoming congress, and approval of the Coalition’s statement. Representatives of organizations that had applied for membership were also present: Anush Martirosyan, President of “Media for Education” NGO, and Armen Baghdasaryan, Vice President of “Digital Armenia” NGO. They presented their organizations’ missions and achievements, expressing confidence that their experience would contribute to achieving the coalition’s goals.
Following the confirmation of members, the matter of convening the coalition’s upcoming congress was discussed. As a result, a preliminary date was set for the coalition’s upcoming congress.
The coalition’s statement regarding the current situation in the country, anti-corruption challenges, and potential risks was also discussed.
During the meeting, the results of the member organizations’ activities assessment survey were reviewed, and directions for upcoming actions were developed.
