Formerly the traffic police had already reported that the speed limit of 40 km/h was set on Davitashen Bridge in Yerevan for the period of 8 January till 1 March 2014. The speed on the bridge is controlled in both directions by the speed control devices.
The police reported that such measures are undertaken every year and only for the safety purposes, based on the fact of icy conditions on the bridge in order to prevent the possible accidents.
The traffic police again urge the drivers to observe traffic rules.
