There are Cases that get more Terrible Solutions than one could imagine: Vahe Grigoryan Judge of the Constitutional Court

Ms Lilit Tadevosyan, President of the Court of Cassation, asked a question to Judge of the Constitutional Court, Vahe Grigoryan, during the interview stage for the Candidate for the position of judge of the European Court of Human Rights. She was interested in what is important to the candidate from the point of view of strengthening confidence in the judiciary and justice.

Grigoryan answered that it is remarkably clear to him that distrust towards the justice system has not been formed in recent years, it is a hereditary distrust. He noted that his private observations show that not all of these cases are resolved by today, and there are even cases that receive more dire solutions than could be imagined, that is, could be imagined before 2018.

“I specially mention the year 2018, it is a landmark, because democratic elections are very concrete starting points, and the system of public power formed by democratic elections has other problems and will have to pursue them,” Grigoryan noted.
